I made this recipe for Memorial Day Weekend coming up and for my friends who own Qui Tequila. If you haven’t tried Qui Tequila, you have to! I really only drink white wine (red wine stains your teeth :)) but this tequila is so smooth and flavorful. It complements the sweetness of the apricots so well with this sticky, sweet and tasty chicken wing recipe with a nice touch of exotic flavor to everyday chicken. This recipe beats buffalo chicken wings…yeh I said it. ½ lb. chicken wings 1 cup apricot preserves 1 teaspoon allspice 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon Aleppo Pepper or paprika 1/3 cup Qui Tequila Salt and pepper to taste

1) Preheat oven to 350°F. 2) Combine apricot preserves, spices with a dash of salt and pepper and tequila in medium sauce pan and bring to a boil the reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until consistency is like syrup. Remove mixture to a glass bowl. 3) Season chicken wings with salt and pepper on all sides and add chicken wings to the glass bowl to coat and cover chicken well. 4) Apply chicken to foiled lined baking sheet. 5) Bake for 35-40 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked and crispy.
